Well it was a fun week of chasing bear, we treed a sow and 3 cubs opening day, let them walk. Treed a nice bear which a friends son harvested, field dressed 207. Got rained out 3rd day, 4th day after about 5 hrs ground battle i finally caught up to the dogs way up on a cliff side and busted a big boy bayed up, bit of a cluster, but the 4 dogs on him did a great job, he field dressed 396. 5th day we treed one around 180 lbs but it bailed out just before we got to the tree, seen it jump and roll down the hill with a mob of brindle all over him, it took off like a shot, my angel dog and a buddies dog (angels sister) ended up putting him in the rocks about 10 min before the cavalry arrived, i snuck up and he was playing peek a boo with me in a big rock shoot, i got the dogs all tied back and waited a couple hours for the other guys but he popped out a different hole about 30' up a rock face before the shooter arrived. all in all a damn good week of hunting with good friends and good dogs, looking forward to getting out for another 7 days of hunting next week! i didnt get any pictures but will post some if my hunting buddies ever send them to me lol
